She is now taking orders for the New Years parties.
* For delicious plum cakes and moist and succulent Christmas plum puddings (which is ready) for the New Year, call Smita Kuttaya from "Limited Overs" at 24466413. The cakes are Rs.180 per kilo and the pudding Rs.150 per kilo, tasty lemon cakes and chocolate cakes are priced at Rs.150 and Rs.120 a kilo respectively.
* POTBELLY in Anna Nagar caters for North and South Indian food, veg. and non-veg for parties, functions etc. for a minimum of 10 to 100 people. They also cater to bachelors, offices, hostels and old age homes on a monthly basis. * Vishal from Raso Caterers in Sowcarpet can supply packed meals of three rotis, one dal, one subji, curd, rice, pickle and papad costing Rs.35. His special items include baingan ka bhartha, Punjabi kadi, black dal, chana dal, gajar ka halwa etc. His minimum order is one person and he can home-deliver with extra charges. * Leela Ravinath from Krishna Bai Street, off Thirumalai Pillai Road (near Vidyodaya school) in T- Nagar caters for red wine, gooseberry (amla) wine, rose wine, tea cakes, fruit cake, desserts like tender coconut pudding, cheese pie (three varieties), lemon soufflé, chocolate chip cake, payasam, pradaman (different types), Kerala fish and chicken curry etc. Her minimum order is four persons and she does not home-deliver. *Annju Singh from La Fest caterers (near Gill Nagar, Choolaimdu) offers the following North Indian buffet food package for parties at Rs.75 per head: papad, two veg-starters, phulkas or parathas, rice item, dal maharani or chana masala, veg. side dish, curd item, sweet and ice cream. Order for 30 to 300 numbers and travel charges will be additional. Select from 221 items. You could also pick up the same package at Rs. 55 per head (without ice cream) in your own container.
