More interviews
IT WAS heartening to read about L. Venkatram Reddy, a silent warrior with no superior airs, in the Metroplus (Willing to go the distance, January 1). Though he was connected with sports activities of the twin cities for over 50 years or more he was not given the pride of place he richly deserved. He was mainly responsible for many successes and a few even got national awards. Today one hardly hears anything about the pig-tailed Sultana, the ace table tennis player, the national champion for years who later migrated to Pakistan. Why not refresh one's memory of the legendary figures of the past? Why don't you have more interview-based stories in your columns?
