French fare

THE PATIO at Taj Coromandel is having a week-long French and Swiss food festival, from January 19-26. Chef Alexandre Willer from Geneva is specially being flown down for the fest.

The exclusive and elaborate menu includes sevruga caviar with traditional accompaniments, pan fried chicken Geneva, mixed vegetable grill with buttered herb rice and Dijon cream, broccoli and potato cake with a gratin of wild mushroom and pepper coulis and crθme de menthe and macademanut chocolate mousse.

That's not all. There is also a delicious selection of matured cheese and Swiss wines to choose from.
