"Oscar" bound


RUSSEL CROWE who missed a second Oscar for "A Beautiful Mind" two years back is now pinning all hopes on his "Master And Commander — The Far Side Of The World" which has been nominated for 10 Oscars including Best Actor. As Captain "Lucky" Jack Aubrey, Crowe is brilliant in this seafaring epic, directed by the acclaimed Peter Weir. Three production giants — 20th Century Fox, Universal and Miramax — collaborated and made this $150 million project.
