MADRAS MOTOR Sports Club in association with Duchess Club and Petroleum Conservation and Research Association (PCRA) is organising "Save Oil Sister", a two-wheeler rally on February 15 to create awareness about the conversation of oil and gas. Along with PCRA, the rally is also being organised by Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Indo Burma Petroleum Corporation.

The rally is not a test of speed but of riding skills. The participants should cover a given distance (about 60-70 kms) within a particular time and speed limit (36 km/hr to be precise). The rally will start from four different points in the city and finish at Indian Oil Buildings on Nungambakkam High Road. The entry forms are available at the Indian Oil Buildings and the last date for submission is February 14.

As a prelude to the two-wheeler rally, the Duchess Club has organised a cycle rally on February 14 (Indian Oil Bhavan to Marina Beach). On the rally day, the club will also be holding painting and cooking competitions based on the `save oil' theme.
