Star struck

WAS ROMEO born under Karthika nakshatram, and Juliet under the star-power of Aswathy? Which stars made them right for each other? Do birth stars foretell your love life?

Gemmologist P. B. RAJESH believes it does and lists out the starry love scale.

Aswathy

If you love a person with birth star Aswathy you must understand the extreme idealism and inner purity that makes them so impossible. They need independence; so do not curb their freedom. They are not always able to articulate their love. If you are looking for signs of love and affection from them, watch their actions for they speak louder than words.

Bharani

As Bharani's partner, you should always keep them inspired. Never give in to all their demands. Although they want a steady and secure relationship, they need their partner to keep their life exciting, full of mystery and pleasure.

Karthika

Karthika need to be seduced and loved. Among all the Nakshatras, they are the most passive when it comes to relationships. They are needy for relationships but will never admit it. They can be emotionally volatile, but it is better that they express their emotions rather than hide them. It you love Karthika be sure to let them know you admire and respect them.

Rohini

Rohini need someone who can support them. They are restless and unsure; they need a partner whom they can lean on, who makes them feel secure and at peace. As a lover of Rohini it is your task to keep them grounded without stripping away their illusions.

Magayiram:

Magayiram are difficult to love. One moment they are possessive and passionate, the next they can be detached and intellectual. They can also drive you mad with their need to analyse every aspect of your relationship. To love them you need to accept this side of their nature . They like you to stand up to them or they can walk all over you.

Thiruvathira:

Thiruvathira never share their innermost thoughts with others, fearing rejection. Loving Thiruvathira means you recognise their vulnerability and see through the image they project to others.

Punartham: -

It is difficult to love Punartham as they are forever on the move. Even if they are physically present, their mind can be miles away. Enjoy their unpredictability. A sure way of attracting their attention is to ask them for advice.

Pooyam:

Pooyam were self-sufficient as children and become more so as adults. You need to crack their veneer of self-sufficiency if you want to get closer to them. They respond to love and affection, slowly thawing to reveal their true self.

Ayilyam:

Ayilyam make romance a wonderful experience, generous and sensuous . But do not expect romance all the time, as they are not demonstrative. They usually take a long time to enter into a serious relationship . Be patient, if you hurry them too much, they can become distant and leave you.

Makam:

Makam have an idealistic vision of their partners. They will love you, if you fit their vision, passionately and completely. Be aware of their strong sexual appetites. They can be extremely critical and hurt you. Makam have faced disappointments in love, so you need to reassure them constantly about your love.

Pooram

Pooram, while they are seeking a long- term partner with whom to start a family, will indulge their appetite through secret flirtations . This can be basis of mistrust in the relationship. One of the downside of loving them is that they can be forever criticising you the way you dress, talk, behave, etc. Remember, they have chosen you; their criticism is another way of loving you.

Uthram

They key to Uthram seduction is to keep them interested physically. Do not give in to them too easily. They like commitment but commitment itself can make them bored and lose interest in you. Loving them means accepting their criticism without letting it hurt you.

Atham

If you desire Atham, you will need to make all the effort. They usually have a poor self- image. They can give a lot materially but emotionally they are very unsettled. To make Atham happy, you need to give them emotional support. They appear confident but their inner self is vulnerable, insecure and in conflict.

Chithira:

Chithira hate it if people take liberties with them or get too familiar. They will let you know with suitable hints about their interest in you. Love them without trying to control them. Always make them feel special.

Chothy:

It is complicated loving Chothy as they do not play by conventional rules. Chothy can be aggressive in getting the better of any opposition. They want an exciting and thrilling relationship, and need a partner who can bring passion into their life and become a source of inspiration for their ideas.

Vishakam:

Vishakam can relate to you on a purely physical way or a deeply spiritual one. They are happy if you understand their spiritual path while you satisfy their sensual one. Your love for them should not be too demanding . They need warmth and inspiration from their partner, not criticism and possessiveness.

Anizham

Anizham will love so much that they will fall for you quickly. It is never easy to leave them. They are good at one- sided love, a love that while flattering to start with can become a burden if you want to move on. So your job in loving Anizham is to forever remind them of the reality of your relationship while not dashing their romantic dreams.

Thriketta

Thriketta are masters of seduction. They have extremely complex issues to resolve through relationship. Their mind games and their ability to love you to death one moment and ignore you the next can create lots of emotional turmoil.

Moolam

Moolam enjoy life on the edge . They can make you experience heaven and hell in a matter of seconds. Loving Moolam is tough. They hardly ever appreciate you, take you for granted .

Pooradam

The first rule of loving Pooradam is to adapt to their fluid nature. Do not try to restrict them, now or later. The second rule is: develop a defence mechanism that allows you deal with their sudden rejection or change. You need have a philosophical attitude and lots of tolerance.

Uthradam:

Being involved with Uthradam is never easy; they play by different rules. They can be oddly clumsy or indifferent lover unless they have worked hard on developing their sensual skills. There is an underlying asceticism about them such as you might see in yogis or sages. If you are one of the snake nakshatras, take the relationship carefully.

Thiruvonam

When you love Thiruvonam, you have to recognise that they put on a sensible and practical image to protect their inner sentimental nature. Because they try so hard to control their emotions, they sometimes lose the ability to express them. As their partner, you have to make them feel comfortable with their emotions.

Avittom

When you live with Avittom, you can feel the tension within them and it can soon permeate into your relationship. One of the keys to loving Avittom is to learn to keep their personal inner battles separate from your relationship issues.

Chathayam

Loving Chathayam is like loving a shadow. They are evasive, difficult to pin down and mysterious. They can also be undependable and capricious. Be prepared to discover some dark secret you know nothing about.

Pooruruttathy

Loving them can be a huge responsibility. Pooruruttathy needs a strong and independent partner willing to shoulder the entire burden of your relationship. If you deal with their arrogance and sensual laziness, their generosity and warmth reward you.

Uthruttathy

Uthruttathy feel only they can truly love, so loving them will be no easy task. They hardly ever acknowledge their own need to be loved in return. You first need to seduce them slowly and make them comfortable about being loved.

Revathy

Loving Revathy means you need to appreciate them unless you want to lose them. Revathy can love you quietly. You will not realise their impact till they have moved on. It is like living in paradise, yet not seeing. It can take an outsider to appreciate their beauty and they can be taken away from you. So loving Revathy means you need to appreciate them unless you want to lose them.
