Ramba's comeback

AFTER A hiatus of three years, Ramba is back in Kannada films. She will be doing Meena's role in the Kannada version of the Tamil mega hit, Muthu. Titled Shahukara the film has Ravichandran in the lead role. It is heard that Meena was the original choice for the Kannada version too. As she could not accommodate dates, the offer has now gone to glamour doll Ramba. Anu Prabhakar plays the other heroine and Omprakash Rao directs the venture. Incidentally, Muthu itself was remade from the Mohanlal-Sobhana starrer, Thenmaavin Kombath and went on to become a rage in Japan when the film was released with Japanese subtitles as Dance Raja.
