Ghantasala anniversary
The 30th anniversary of renowned Telugu musician and playback singer, Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, was observed by the Visakhapatnam branch of Allahabad Bank recently.
A special assistant of the branch, K. Jagannadha Rao, rendered many popular songs of the legendary singer for two-and-a-half hours. The customers, staff and other employees of other banks attended. Jagannadha Rao concluded with a singing the Ghantasala Bhagavad Gita.
Jagannadha Rao, an ardent fan of Ghantasala has been presenting the programme continuously for the past 26 years. The senior manager of the bank, C. Yadagiri, thanked the gathering for making the programme a success.
