Suseela enthralls


U. Suseela Kumari (20), took 20 cars one after the other on her chest at a demonstration organised by the All India Immigrate Karate-Do Federation at the Shipyard Grounds in Scindia recently. A student of P. Ganesh Kumar, V Dan black belt and founder of the federation, Suseela, gave her first performance at the age of 14 years, when she took a Maruti car on her stomach.

A Karate instructor at the federation, Suseela, is the daughter of U. Appala Ramayya, a retied employee of Hindustan Shipyard Limited. She has participated in nearly 50 tournaments at the State, national and international levels and has officiated as match referee in about 20 tournaments. Coca Cola provided 500 glasses of the soft drink free to the visitors, who attended the programme.
