Campus call

MALAYALAM CINEMA too is dominated by campus love stories these days. Director Mohan's just completed movie titled Campus revolves around three friends and college mates. Rajeev Menon, a moneyed man and his two friends, Najeeb and Kunjaanja, both hail from poor families. As in the case of most rich families in our movies, Rajeev too has an emotional problem as his rich parents do not see eye to eye. He takes refuge in literature and fine arts and solace in girlfriend Neena's company . An interesting aspect of the film is that scions of two popular film personalities walk their way to the arc lights. Popular heroine Manju Warrier's brother Madhu Warrier makes his debut as Rajeev while debutante Eva, daughter of veteran director Pavithran plays Neena. One more debutant Rajeev is cast as Najeeb and Mathew as Kunjaanja.
