The spoof shows

SHEKHAR SUMAN'S "Movers And Shakers" has inspired so many regional channels to make similar programmes. There are three such shows in Malayalam, two each in Tamil and Kannada. In Telugu, the newly launched news channel TV 9 has started "J for Jhansi", a programme hosted by anchor Jhansi, similar to Shekhar Suman's format of mixing political limericks, current affairs and some plain buffoonery. All the shows on regional channels are downright silly. Any day, "The Jay Leno Show," the original on CNBC, is a better option.
