Action hero

BOBBY DEOL is one Bollywood star who refuses to experiment with roles. He loves to do action films where he is an angry young an with a smoking gun in his hands. Vengeance may be a hackneyed term, but for Bobby, it is a sure shot way to reach the box-office. His latest is `Bardaasht," directed by E. Niwas, a former assistant of Ramgopal Varma. In "Bardaasht," Bobby plays an ex-Army officer who was once in love with his senior officer's daughter played by Lara Dutta. His brother Ritesh Deshmukh is framed and shot dead by Rahul Dev, a cop in an encounter for processing drugs. Bobby goes to court to clear his brother's name with the help of his ex-girlfriend who is now a lawyer. However, he has to pick up the gun again to prove his brother's innocence!
