Metro School Montage



Student of Kids Create School at the graduation function.

Graduation Day was celebrated at Kids Create Public School, Peda Waltair, recently. The 50 students who graduated from pre-kg to primary education participated in the celebrations. They wore their `graduation dress' on the lines of the convocation function of universities. Competitions were conducted for pre-kg and LKG students in portraying cartoon characters, nursery rhymes and fancy dress.

The secretary of the AQJ Centre for PG Studies, V.A. Siddique, participated as chief guest at the prize distribution function.

The director of the school, Sheik Farid, correspondent, S.D. Parveen, and the principal, Fariha Shiek, spoke.

Khader Abisah Bin Ahmed, a pupil of Std. IX in Olivet School, has received a `knowledge card' from the President of India, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Khader, who had no interest in science, was influenced by the work of Dr. Kalam and gradually took a liking for the subject. He also secured a good rank in a debate and sent a copy of it to the President.

Graduation Day was celebrated at Pollocks School, Dwarakanagar, recently. The kindergarten kids who graduated were sent to Std. I. The main theme of the celebration was kites and the school was decorated with them. The principal, Sandeep Chitra in his message said: "These kites symbolised the little ones who have just started their flight into the world of education. The persons who hold the thread are the parents and the vital threads joining the kites are their teachers who help the children in achieving their dreams, and the school atmosphere acts like favourable winds helping the kites reach the stars."

The vice-principal, Rajini, stressed on the importance of inculcating discipline and inculcating good moral values in the children.
