BE IT a house of a mediocre or the house of a classy family. Houses always have something to say. If you want to have a break from the conventional routine embellishment using the traditional furniture, this house is the one.
With its modern, easy enhancing methods mostly sticking to the Space wood wardrobes and cup boards, with spacious rooms and furniture designed as per the need, seem to fit in perfect. So here we are, once again soaring into the interior details of the charming dwelling of Bhavani and Arun Kumar, a leading entrepreneur in the footwear industry, that has many interesting insights to offer with decorative styles.
The magnetism of the house was indisputably the kitchen, with its abundant number of closets, cabinets with easy pull-open drawers. The finely done-up partition between the kitchen and the dining that was superbly trimmed and decorated with the black granite lay there untainted in between speaks volumes of the architectural taste of the couple. The semi-circular Chinese-styled kitchen breakfront fixed above the partition, elegantly flaunting the crockery, was eye catching.
The second sitting room was an absolute delight with its mini-bar facility including an array of handsome bottles like Something Special, Seagram's 100 Pipers that could serve the desiring clique. On one side was a princely wooden chest with glass serving as a mini library, which displayed many books as per the taste of Rakesh, who seems to be the reader in the family. A tall glass shelf unit standing at the other corner adorned with a numerous articles collected from assorted places beautified the room altogether. Appears like the days when you dig into your walls for creating shelves or wardrobes are long gone.
With all the modern design units available in the market, dolling up the place without disturbing the basic shell is much favored. All the bedrooms had an air of sophistication to them. Another ace notability was the surrounding music and the smart positioning of the lights. The lighting lay-out has become a pre-eminence in today's styling mode. Why not? When you can make your point lucid, shining and bewitching exerting the right focus.
This lady with an unending smile had achieved a lot within these four walls. "It was something that I, and my eldest son, Sandeep teamed to rack up,'' she says flashing another brilliant smile of hers. Well, it seems like they have done it all. The house was a sheer delight to confront and so was she.
