Learning the write things!
ITS GREAT fun to splash in puddles, swoon over a peach-and-gold sunset, clap hands and tap fingers when our insides sing with joy.
Summer has arrived, bringing with it the hateful searing heat. But, you have an option to beat the heat and chill out, making the best of your vacation. How?
The answer is simple: summer camps. A number of them have sprung across the city inviting kids to join and learn the art of leading a life full of fun and entertainment even while honing their innate skills in a most refreshing manner.
Visit a summer camp and you'll know what you have been missing during your vacation.
The MICE Kids Buoyant Forum at Mogulrajpuram, has organised one such camp which is drawing a large number of kids. Over 400 students belonging to different age groups have enrolled themselves in the camp.
Instead of reducing itself to the routine activities, the Director of the Vivekananda Institute, the organiser of the event, Prasad, has come out with innovative ideas like introducing classes in calligraphy-the art of right-writing. Conducted under the guidance of Dr. A.Ranadheer Kumar, the first Indian to possess a doctorate in grapho-therapy, a handwriting expert, an author and a trainer, all rolled into one, this latest fad is a big hit. All one needs to do is give the accurate stroke at the right place in their hand-writing to make it reflect in their lifestyle.
Other attractions are Abacus, origami, mind power, arts and crafts, fun factory, etiquette and manners and leadership skills.
Rain dance is a sensational addition to the eventful summer at the camp where the kids revel in the 'artificial rain' teasing the sun blazing at its best outside the camp.
