SEED (SCHOOL for Enrichment in Education and Development) offers children a place to explore, discover and learn about the world through a time-tested curriculum and innovative teaching methods. The staff who have experience in Early Childhood Education help foster love for learning, discipline and values of caring and sharing in children.
The programmes are open to infants and toddlers (six months to two years), pre-schoolers and children of kindergarten age (LKG and UKG) and those in the 6-12 age group. The after-school programme is designed for the 6-12-year olds.
The infant to toddler programme comprises four components: environment, interactive sessions, links with parents and developmental activities. The pre-school and kindergarten programme focusses on literacy, mathematics, science, social and emotional development and physical development. Six-to-12-year olds can participate in a host of activities that stimulate imagination. The foundation of the programme is project-based and is centred around specific interest of children such as dance, art, dramatics and public speaking. The projects culminate with an event.
This summer, SEED is organising a special programme that includes several activities such as dance, dramatics, clay modelling, public speaking, time management and organisation, cooking and baking, paper making, block printing, origami, pottery and puppetry. All these, in an air-conditioned ambience and in an area of 6,000 sq.ft. The programme is on from May 12-22, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is open to children aged 4-12.
