A bold move

S. J. SURYAH has taken a daring decision not to have a simultaneous release of his bilingual —“Naani” in Telugu and “New” in Tamil. "Naani" released last week all over Andhra Pradesh and "New" will hit the screens in Tamil Nadu by mid-June. "Naani" has Mahesh Babu and Amisha Patel in the lead and is the first big summer release. The songs of A. R. Rahman are a rage among the youth and the trade feels that Suryah knows the pulse of the audience. Remember Suryah's "Kushi" was an all-time Telugu hit that made Pawan Kalyan a star. Said a confident Suryah: "Naani" is a great entertainer and I am extremely eager about the box-office success of the film. Mahesh Babu has done an extraordinary job and the film will appeal to one and all.
