It's haute this summer
CHILL OUT this summer with a host of Oriental styles. W, the workwear brand for women, has launched a trendy summer collection of innovatively designed salwar kameez embellished with Oriental embroidery and chic cutwork. Oriental style kurtas, priced between Rs. 450 and Rs. 799, can be coordinated with salwars and dupattas priced at Rs. 399 and Rs. 250 respectively. The range is available at W stores in several cities and leading multi-brand outlets such as Shoppers' Stop, Lifestyle, Globus and Pantaloons.
The collection features lightweight, sheer fabrics like cotton, linen and linen blends with cotton, which give a comfortable yet contemporary look. The lively colour palette varies from raspberry and pumpkin to soothing options like salmon, lemonade, citron, orchid bloom and custard.
The special features of the W Collection (brought out by the TCNS Clothing Company, Gurgaon) this time are the Oriental style kurtas with loop buttons and Magyar sleeves, elegant cutwork, band collars, asymmetrical or angular necklines, front fastenings, trendy fagetting lace, bright chalk stripes and floral dobbies.
