Gripping serial

THERE ARE umpteen tear-jerkers on telly, which have wide viewership no doubt. But a rare serial like `Lahore Central Jail' too is making its presence felt, mainly due its excellent production values and a poignant story of the hardships that the Indian soldiers face as prisoners of war at the hands of the enemies.

Produced by C. Parameshwar and M. Siddaram Reddy and directed by Sri, the serial is telecast on Sunday nights. Worth a watch.
