Mall melodies

A music festival is on at Bangalore Central Mall

Bangalore Central: sing while you shop

THE CITY'S latest mall, Bangalore Central, is seeing plenty of action, and it's not just shopping and overindulging at its food court. A music festival is happening at this very moment, with leading bands of Bangalore participating.

There are foot-tapping performances by bands specialising in different genres of music, varying from fusion to rock 'n' roll, Indo-jazz to classical, soft rock to pop, Indian classical to country.

The festival features banks like Esperanto, Earth Born, Alchemy, besides performers like `Sax' Raman, Prakash Sontakke and Carlton Braganza, among others.

While you're at it, it helps that the six-storeyed mall has specific areas dedicated to women, men, children, infants, food and beverages, home appliances, furnishing, toys, as well as a play area for kids.
