Indian summer at British Library



A book exhibition showcases the best of Indian writing in English

BRITISH LIBRARY is organising an exhibition of books on Indian writing in English. On display is a collection of 250 books comprising the works of Rabindranath Tagore, V.S. Naipaul, Amitav Ghosh, T.G. Vaidyanathan, Ashish Nandy, M.N. Srinivas, Vikram Seth, William Dalrymple, R.K. Narayan, H. Raja Rao, Shashi Deshpande, Dom Moraes, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, C. Rajagopalachari, Kenneth Anderson, Ramachandra Guha, Pavan K. Varma, T.J.S. George, J. Krishnamurti, Khushwant Singh, Ruskin Bond, Shashi Tharoor, Anita Nair, Mahesh Dattani, Sudha Murty and translations of Munshi Premchand and Satyajit Ray.

The books are on view at the libraries premises on Prestige Takt, 23, Kasturba Road Cross, from June 11 to 24 between 10.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., except Sundays.
