All about Chennai

COVERING AN area of approximately 600 sq km, including Tambaram, Ambattur and Ennore, the Eicher City Map of Chennai is a useful navigation tool. Besides detailed mapping of each area, complete with landmark buildings, by-lanes and house numbers, the map book has an extensive index of anything from art galleries, libraries, and hotels to foreign missions, banks and ATMs. Also included is a list of reference numbers.

The book begins with short write-ups accompanied by photographs on the history of the city, important tourist spots and a little bit of information on food, shopping and entertainment, which make for interesting reading.

The map, published by Eicher Goodearth Limited, is priced at Rs. 200, and is available at the railway station, airport, select petrol pumps, leading bookstores and department stores. It will soon be available at select Speed Post Offices.

The other maps available are for the cities of Delhi and Mumbai. For more information, e-mail eichercitymap@eicher.co.in
