Strawberry tart


Ingredients

Flour - 100 gms
Fat - 100 gms
Icing sugar - 50 gms
Egg - 1/2 (optional)
Milk - 10 ml
Vanilla essence - 5 ml
For filling
Cream (double whipped) - 100 ml
Strawberry puree - 25 ml
Fresh fruits (chopped) - 25 gms
Sugar - 50 gms
Whole or half strawberry - 2

Method

For tart base

1. Cream fat and icing sugar.
2. Mix egg or milk and vanilla essence.
3. Add flour.
4. Base a tart mould.
5. Bake at 160 degrees for 20 minutes.
6. Whisk double cream adding powdered sugar.
7. Introduce strawberry puree and chopped strawberry.
8. Pipe into tart shell.
9. Decorate with strawberries and serve.
