Snack shapes

What is the difference between cutlets and croquettes?

Ruchi

CUTLETS AND croquettes are mashed boiled vegetable/chicken/meat/seafood preparations which are seasoned and bound with egg and breadcrumbs (however, for meat mixtures no breadcrumb is required for binding) and shaped in different ways. A croquette is always barrel shaped and is deep-fried. The cutlet can be shaped into round or heart shapes and can be pan sautéed, grilled, baked, or deep-fried.
