Mats do matter

The humble mat has become a style statement

MATS HAVE definitely come a long way from being merely used as a spread to sleep on or something to wipe your feet on. The increasing number of shops specialising solely on mats shows an upward trend towards choosing the right mat for a home. More and more mats are being custom- made to suit a particular design or look.

The Mat Shop, situated at Falnir, is one such place dedicated to different types of mats for all occasions. The store specialises in mats for your car, home, office and other places.

Attractive, colourful rugs and dhurries made of cotton and jute are some of the main attractions of the shop. These mats are made to suit the look of your home and match the interiors.

Besides home accessories, car mats too are featured here. These mats, customised to fit your car and made of either rubber or fibre, are specially made to suit the look of your car.

Coir mats are another feature here. Coir doormats of brush and non-brush variety, natural and either plain or with designs are made in different sizes. Coir carpets, floor coverings, runners and corner pieces: you name it and it's there.
