HORLICKS HAS kicked off its nationwide school programme — Horlicks Wiz Kids 2004, which will include many activities such as Horlicks Dream Team. These events are being conducted in schools across 15 cities and will conclude on September 24, 2004. The events have been designed to provide school children a platform to discover and showcase their talent.
The focus is on participation by way of competitions through inter-school cultural and literary activities.
Besides conducting 40 competitions in big cities such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai, the Horlicks Wiz Kids 2004 will travel to sub-centres such as Coimbatore, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram, Bhubaneshwar, Patna and Pune. The events will be based on diverse subjects such as music, dance, writing, speaking, art and literature.
The Horlicks Dream Team will run parallel to Horlicks Wiz Kids 2004 in which six "live wire" students with a positive outlook on life will be chosen by a panel of judges through a national selection process to represent the Dream Team.
The events are being organised by ACTIVITY which is working with schools and committed to providing opportunities beyond academics.
The events will be held on July 13 and 14 in Chennai.
