Cell phones can be a blessing

CELL PHONES are something without which our youngsters cannot survive. It has got its own pros and cons. But if it is used in the right way, it is advantageous. I have a small incident to narrate about how the cell phone saved a four-year-old's life in Bangalore.

Recently, I just got a message on my cell stating that a four-year-old child needed O-positive blood. I tried calling back but it was switched off. I thought my friends were up to some pranks. But I forwarded that message to my other friends. What if it is true? Fifteen minutes later, one of my friends called me and said that her blood group is Opositive. I tried calling that original number again and this time it was ringing. Finally, the child got blood at the right time. Though I did not donate blood, it made me happy that the child got it.
