One-man army

DUBBED ENGLISH films are at present doing roaring business in Tamil Nadu. "The Day After Tomorrow" ("Nalai Marunaal") has grossed over Rs. 3 crores. The English version had grossed an amazing Rs. 53,42,470 in 32 days at Devi theatre in Chennai, a new theatre record for an English film! Last week's "Van Helsing" ("Kallarai Manithan") has taken a better opening than any Tamil film released in the month of June! Now "Walking Tall" rechristened "Thillan" is trying to cash in on Dhanush's "Sullan" which is yet to be released! "Walking Tall" is a typical action movie where The Rock is a one-man-army and sheriff of a small town who takes on the baddies. The highlights are, of course, The Rock and the superbly choreographed action scenes.
