"If you want to live a more fulfilled life, first you will want to know your potential and who you really are. Meditation is the route to that knowledge. It is the methodology of the science of awareness," said one of the many participants who came to attend the one-day Osho meditation camp and book exhibition held at YMCA on Friday.

The hall inside the YMCA campus reverberated with the sound of sublime music. Many people came to participate in the camp, which started from Friday evening to the next day evening. "Osho has given 112 techniques. In this meditation camp, five techniques will taught," said Ms Manju Sushanti who is ardent follower of Osho and one of the chief organisers of the camp and book exhibition. These techniques were dynamic, kundalini, nataraj, nadabrahma and vipasana. "All these five techniques have a jet speed effect."

Dynamic meditation is recommended to be done in the morning, this hour-long method is a powerful way to kick-start your day. It provides an outlet for tension and withheld emotions as well as being a great energy-booster! Kundalini meditation is a gentle yet effective way to release all the accumulated stress of your day. Nataraj meditation i.e. dance, is an easy and natural way to turn in. Nadabrahma meditation is a sitting method that is one-hour long, in which humming and hand movements create an inner balance and stillness.

An Osho book exhibition was also held along with the camp. "Our purpose behind this exhibition and meditation camp is to spread the message of Osho," she said. More than 500 books and audiocassettes were on display at the exhibition. "Meditation helps to come out from the negativities, which constantly surrounds us."
