Gayab for glory

WITH KOI... Mil Gaya hitting the bull's eye last year, this week Gayab, again the story of a loser sailing on special effects awaits box office glory.

A Ramgopal Varma and K Sera Sera production, Gayab is the story of Vishnu Prasad who, hurt of his failure tag, suddenly becomes invisible one fine day. The plot may remind of the late `80s blockbuster Mr. India but director Prawal Raman's inspiration stems from a sub plot of his debut film Darna Mana Hai.

The film boasts of 50 minutes of special effects from Varma's favourite Huzefa to keep the kids involved. As for adults, there is Antara Mali at her ravishing best and Amar Mohile's beats to indulge. However, Gayab is essentially a Tusshar Kapoor film. Will the innocent boy come of age? That the promise he showed in Khakee, earlier this year, was for real. For answers stay in sight.
