Colleges not courts

THE TENDENCY of making students go round courts instead of colleges seem to be on the rise. No entrance or examination in any University is complete without at least one petition being filed in court. After EAMCET, it was the BITS admissions. Though the problem in BITS admissions arose from a Court observation, the UGC and AICTE were responsible for it by seeking a change in the admission mode. The story is same everywhere with problems galore during admissions. The admissions are further delayed once students approach the courts seeking redressal of their grievances. Wish institutions were crystal clear about their procedures to ensure that students don't run around courts instead of colleges.
