For students only

Pack your bags now.

WELL, STUDY and excursion may not gel but student and excursion indeed does. Now, International Student Identity Card (ISIC), the only UNESCO endorsed card accepted in over 100 countries and proof of full-time student status, brings exclusive travel packages for students travelling abroad through the offices of the Student Travel Information Centre (STIC), the sole representatives of ISIC in India.

The students not only get all the benefits of the ISIC card, which includes discounts across 50,000 outlets in the world, but also get access to specially priced fares for students in association with STA Travel, the largest student and youth travel organization in the world.

Richa Goyal Sikri, director, STIC says, "The idea is to provide not only the best travel deal for students but also all travel related solutions under one roof to make it convenient along with being extremely competitive for the students."

Interestingly, the ISIC Travel Package fare to Europe is more than 35 per cent cheaper than the market fare and more than 40 per cent lesser to the U.S. and Canada, making them very attractive for students.

The package also includes special baggage allowance of up to 40 kilograms for Europe and three pieces to the U.S. and Canada. There are also special discounts on suitcases in luggage-stores in India and on international phone calls. The other benefits include 24-hour international help-line, email, and virtual safe facility all free of cost.

Details on the fares can be obtained from the ISIC website: www.isicweb.net or through email on info@isicweb.net.
