Murali is back
AFTER A brief hiatus, Murali is back to the arc lights with writer turned director M.A. Kennedy's debut film, Arivumani. Kennedy had earlier written for many of K.S. Ravikumar's films. Here, he takes up the story set in Ooty of a manager in a tea estate (played by Murali) who stands by the workers and liked by everybody in the Estate and town. Of course he falls in love with the Estate owner's daughter (Mira Vasudevan). With a predictable and often proved box office formula, the director says that the first half of the film is entertaining with comedy and romance taking top honours and the second half will be engrossing with emotional and heart rending scenes.
For those action lovers there are a couple of well -choreographed actions scenes too when the hero takes on the antique smugglers etc., Murali is confident of making a comeback. And the reason is that whenever he had worked with a new director or a new producer the film clicked. Now he is doubly sure, as both the producer (Srinivasan of Winner Creations) and the director are debutants.
