Learn animation

THE PAST few years have seen the Indian animation market become increasingly competitive. The lower costs of production and technical manpower have led international animation companies to outsource work to India. The quality of talent, however, is yet to measure up to that of countries such as Philippines and Korea.

Vismayas Max, the newly-opened animation academy and studio under the patronage of Mohanlal, offers specialised training in the advanced and modern techniques of 2D animation. The academy will offer courses in animation, layout, background, in-between and cleanup in the 2D format. Each course will be of six-months duration and each batch will have 10 students. Classes will be handled by experts. Vismayas Max has its office at Marappalam, Pattom. For details, contact 3097557, 253442.
