DYNASTY AND family ties continue to be an issue in politics. If it was the Gandhi family that was in the news before the elections, it is none other than the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's family that is in the limelight now, thanks to the talk of his brother and Cuddapah MP, Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, relinquishing the seat.
Even while the Cuddapah MP has his own reasons for giving up the post, the talk is that YSR's son, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, could be the party's (read YSR's) choice as a replacement.
In the meanwhile, though the party, or the Chief Minister, is yet to spell out a stance on the issue, the talk is, whether M.V. Mysoora Reddy, who lost the seat to Vivekananda Reddy, contest and try to put an end to the family rule. Wait and watch is all we can say for now.
