Another director-actor!

AFTER CHERAN and Suryah, it is now the turn of director Praveen Kanth to don grease paint in a lead role. His forthcoming home production, Thullal, features him as the hero opposite two newcomers to Tamil cinema, Gurlin Chopra and Sonika.

Praveen Kanth had earlier directed Ratchagan with Nagarjuna and Jodi and Star with Prashanth. Like Cheran, he promises that his film revolves around life and is bold in content.

At the audio release function of Thullal, Praveen Kanth received a warm welcome. Praveen Kanth promises to turn youth euphoric once his film is released as the songs (one of which he himself wrote) tuned by Dhina are already popular with them.

By the way, upcoming hero Silambarasan rendered a song for his friend Praveen in the movie.

As both Cheran's Autograph and Suryah's latest release New (forget that its Telugu version Nani is a flop) are big hits, will Praveen Kanth too join the list of successful directors turned actors in Tamil?
