Four-wheel fantasy

REMEMBER "HERBIE-The Wonder Car" of Walt Disney's 1970's entertainer, `The Love Bug'? This was an all-time favourite movie about a white `Volkswagen Beetle' with a mind of its own which could do heroic acts like fighting the villains and inducing love between the lead pair. Now, many years later, after Volkswagen has stopped manufacturing the beetle car, the Bollywood director duo, Abbas-Mustan, are coming out with `Taarzan — The Wonder Car". Abbas-Mustan and producer Gordhan Tanwani have used a custom-made car which flies, swims and fights villains in the film! Said Abbas-Mustan: "It is a fun movie featuring this incredible car called Taarzan along with Vatsal Seth and Ayesha Takia, both newcomers, in the lead. The car with its low-slung sporty look has been designed by Dilip Chhabria and cost around Rs. 2 crores." Chhabria had earlier designed the Aston Martin car for 007 in "Die Another Day". The trade feels that "Taarzan — The Wonder Car" has the potential to be a runaway hit.
