Pepping up confidence among girls

Martial arts for self-defence

The decision to supply pepper spray to girls is an apt one going by the growing crimes against the fairer sex. Parents are afraid of sending out their grown up daughters under the present circumstances. The necessity for evolving new methods to ensure self-protection by girls is felt every minute these days. Since there is no way a Government or for that matter, even the parents themselves can protect the girls round-the-clock, the latter should stop depending on others for their own security. They should be encouraged to learn self-defence arts like Karate and Kung-fu. Such moves may not help us completely reverse the situation but it would certainly instil confidence among the female gender with regard to their status in society.
