Romantic interludes

REAL-LIFE ROMANCES are spilling on to the big screen. First off the block is "Kyon Ho Gaya Na" which was released last Friday where Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai come together for the first time in reel life. Next week, we have Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor in the romantic thriller "Fida". The idea behind these films is to cash in on the real-life romance between the lead pair. The advance booking for "Kyon Ho Gaya Na" all over India is phenomenal. In a business where you are as big as your last hit, Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai know that they need a super hit to salvage their career in Bollywood. "Kyon Ho Gaya Na" is otherwise just another romantic comedy directed by debutant Sameer Karnik and co-stars Amitabh Bachchan who ignites the romance between the lead pair.
