It's quiz time folks

THE ASSOCIATION of British Scholars (ABS), Chennai in association with the British Council, is organising an intercollegiate quiz on August 28 at the Stella Maris College for Women.

Around 25 teams of undergraduate students (three in each team) from various colleges will participate.

There will be a written preliminary round (questionnaire format) followed by semi-finals and finals.

Apart from attractive prizes for the top three teams, there will also be special prizes for the audience.

Interested colleges should complete the registration form on the ABS website (www.abs.India.org) and send it to Nim Bahadur, education projects executive, British Council Division, British Deputy High Commission, 737, Anna Salai or email to Chennai@abs-india.org. Registration closes today.

The Association of British Scholars is a forum created for networking of all those who have studied or trained in the U.K. Started in 1985 in the city, the ABS has now 23 chapters in India.
