Gags galore

"SHREK-2", THE highest grosser at the U.S. box-office ($436 million in 100 days) this year, is releasing in Chennai this week. "Shrek" which showcased the comic adventures of the grumpy green giant, was a huge hit worldwide (except in India) and bagged Oscar for the Best Animated Film in 2001. In the sequel, which is said to be as funny as the original, the green giant reunites with his pignosed princess bride and their garrulous donkey. Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers, who lent their voices, have contributed largely to the success of the film. "Shrek-2" will make great viewing for kids and adults alike.
