THE METROPLUS edition is packed with information and makes interesting reading. Kudos to you for taking up particular topic for discussion in every issue. It discusses in detail current and burning issues which affect everyday life. Rather than having it as a four page issue, few more pages can be introduced with more articles. A special feature on "Green City' Clean City' can be introduced in every issue to promote cleanliness and safety on roads.

SINDU NARAYAN'S article Dose of dry fruit (Metro plus, 9th Aug 04) was read with interest. As a regular consumer of dry fruits, at shorter intervals Dates and longer intervals Raisin, I fully agree with the author that dry fruits are free from side effects and they have strong medicinal properties. The author has rightly described them as a health capsule. But me and my wife, both of us are 60-plus, are a bit afraid that raisins and dates may cause diabetes in the long run and cashew and almond might increase cholesterol level in blood. The article would have been complete had the above fears been allayed.
