"Media role added sheen to Pushkarams"

A miniscule effect

I feel that media plays a key role in everyone's day-to-day life. But when it comes to a traditional and a religious event like Pushkaram, media has very little influence on people.

For, after all, the pilgrims are driven by their inner voice, their staunch age-old belief and their ardent faith in the holiness of Krishnaveni.

Most of them come here for atonement of their sins while others offer pinda pradanam. It would not be wrong to say that media could influence a very miniscule of the sections pouring in for a holy bath.
