Right from the day of its evolution, media has played a crucial role in motivating people, making them aware of their rights and duties.

As per my knowledge, in the earlier days, only elders in the family used to participate in the special pooja performed to mark the Pushkarams.

Media played an effective role in luring huge crowds including kids, couples, old and young, to be part of thecelestial event. People completely rely on media for their decisions during such public event. Newspapers and TV channels are their only source of information and they make the best use of them.
