"Media role added sheen to Pushkarams"

Kudos

In the present era of globalisation, media is the master brain behind every incident that occurs in any part of the world. It had a tough task on hand to fulfill during the 12-day Pushkarams but in the end, it came out with flying colours. I could see newsreporters of almost every newspaper and TV channel deployed in bathing ghats.

It amply fulfilled its duty by acting as a bridge between the district administration and the public at the ghats.

In addition to making the pilgrims aware of their duties and responsibilities, it successfully brought to light the evils associated with an event of such magnitude.

The least I can say is the grand success of Pushkarams has added yet another feather in the cap of local media.
