"Media role added sheen to Pushkarams"

Directly responsible

A sacred dip in the holy Krishna is an essential part of the 12-day Pushkarams. Media is directly responsible for the increase or decrease of pilgrims rush to the place for a divine plunge. Besides informing the public about the vast activity and arrangements being made for their convenience during the 12-day period, it also highlights loopholes in the public forcing the Government to initiate immediate action to rectify the same.

Its role in attracting pilgrims from all over the country goes without saying.

Thus, it would be only too fair to say that the local media played a very positive role in helping the pilgrims who in turn, were hugely influcenced by it.
