"Media role added sheen to Pushkarams"

Officials did well too

The religious and scientific reasons on why a person should opt for a holy dip in river Krishna during the 12-day Pushkarams amply highlighted by media is one of the major factors which contributed to the abnormal swell in the crowds.

The district administration, too, on its part, has utilized the services of media for publicising all aspects of Pushkarams which include religious and ancient places across the district, the need to visit them and be part of the celestial event, has left a deep influence on many a pilgrim.

Thus, it would not be an exaggeration to say that media was able to influence the pilgrim rush in the recently-concluded Pushkarams.
