Beauty contests require a lot of preparation both mentally and physically. A positive outlook and attitude has to be developed. One's self-esteem, outlook and attitude is enhanced. It makes the contestants feel good about themselves. The extraordinary discipline and regimen which the girls follow helps them stay fit and energetic. It is a yardstick for self-worth.
