Beauty pageants: yardstick for woman's self-worth?

A beauty pageant will not and cannot bring out the best in women. It doesn't help her achieve her ambitions. Self worth is decided by a woman's determination and willpower. The questions asked in the final round in such contests are mere eye wash.
