GANESH CHATURTHI has inspired many in the city to host exhibitions that exclusively feature the elephant-headed deity in his myriad forms.
Sunny Sistems — The Gallery has put together an exhibition dedicated to Ganesha.
What makes the display special is that Ganesha has been crafted in different mediums - terracotta, wood, metal and stone.
Besides, there are paintings of the deity in black and white, oils on mica sheet, crayons, airbrush technique, in the Tanjore style as well as Ganeshas embossed in copper, brass and aluminium.
Wooden panels depicting Ganesha in various moods and exclusive Ganesha lamps and mirrors add to the mind-boggling variety.
The exhibition is on till September 25. Sunny Sistems — The Gallery is at 58 (GF), 2nd Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar.
